Bosco and Darwin

I have housed many reptiles in my time, but Bosco still surprise day in and day out. It was bath day and he was resting very well in the bath tub. I figured why not let Darwin have a swim around as well.

This is what went down:
First meet, some lick as to figure out who is who.

Bosco moves close but in a none aggresive way, Darwin didn't puff up so I let them get closer:

And then Darwin found out he makes a good pillow:

From then on Darwin kept close to his new big buddy.

It will be sometime before the two free roam the room together but bath time seems to be just fine for now.

Dam.. That's some beautiful family members... I been back and forth about getting a caiman lizard.. But snails would be impossible for me to get..

Do you have a local Asian market? But they are a lot and I mean a lot of work!

Nope no market by me.. A lot of work uh?... Taming wise?..

No like humidity, lighting, food, water change. Taming hasn't been too bad, nails hurt like a... well you get it. Going from a tegu who can get stand the temp dropping and missing a meal and easy to clean to an animal that needs special diets and cannot get chilly can take a bit to get use to.

I got Bosco from a small breeder about 6 years ago.

Do they still breed?

Don't think so. It was so long ago I don't even have the contact anymore.
