Ours are in 7ft x 3ft. Ours DO NOT live together! The female bullies the male all over the place if they meet. The only time she tolerated him was when she was ready to breed.
As long as they get along. But you'll need to separate them after they copulate or he'll bug the crap out of her. She may not lay. The male may eat the eggs. The female will voraciously defend her nest.
You can certainly try breeding them in it. You can also try keeping them together, its really a hit and miss subject. My 2 tegus get along great with each other and would be fine in that cage but it depends on the tegus.
If you get them younger and let them grow together chances are they will be much more tolerable towards each other. Most tegus are social and get along well with others though from the start.
The cage should be fine for two tegus in to live together though. If need be you can always just put in some divider or gate.
