Drylok is a masonry sealant (sp?) that people use in their wooden cages to prevent moisture damage. Tegus require a significant humidity level and cages that aren't sealed can suffer structural integrity issues.

If you spend some time doing some research in the housing and enclosures forum, reading through threads and such, you'll have most of the answers you're looking for. Do the work...it's fun and interesting.

Well of course the first thing you wanna do is draw up some plan on paper and draw out what you want, second get your measurement. then you want to get your supplies plywood boards work great nothing never pine or cedar, and 2x4 for the frame..screws, nails ect! The drylock is kinda like a paint, but it seals your wood from moisture .Keeps the humidity in and keep the water from rotting the wood. That would go on after you have build your enclosure or as some ppl like to do they apply it on all sides like wall, floor and both sides of enclosure before putting together. most ppl do a couple coats. some ppl only do one coat! So its kinda like building a big box with a door..Or you can do something alittle more. thats up to you.. I hope this helps alittle.
