caiman lizard help

Need some caiman lizard help all of my caiman lizards done something today that dont seem right when it was feeding time the two bigger caiman lizards of the group was fighting each other over who ate first and then when the one caiman lizard started to take a bite of food he didnt bite the food instead he bit the bowl can someone tell me whats going on.

i have found the best way when two tegus or monitors fight over food in a bowl is to put two bowls in there and feed in two different spots but most of the time they will try to eat out of the same bowl there really isn't any reason why they are doing what they are it is just nature to them just my 2-cents.
