I did some research and it seems like the most trusted calcium is Rep-Cal.. I just have the kind with out D3 tho others like to feed the kind with D3 once or twice a week as a supplement ...Rodent bones are most likely the best ..
Provided we are using adequate UVB lighting, there is no need to use the calcium with D3... though many do use it with no ill results...
I feed a lot of (hairless) adult mice, and use powdered calcium limitedly. Though I would not discourage anyone else from using powdered calcium regularly.
