Can this be an argentine black and white tegu?

Hey guys!

I was at the pet shop the other day, and they told me they just just received an argentine black and white tegu hatchling. Everything about it indicates an argie hatchling, except one thing; it's color! It's not the bright green it should be. Is it actually an argie?

That looks like a #argentine to me. He's got the white line going down the side. He looks like he might be getting ready to shed. Are you going to buy him?

Perhaps he has been poorly taken care of...you just never know.

It's an Argentine. As Bubblz said the green fades away at different times with different tegus.
