He's eaten every day since I got him (the last week of August). The last week he hasn't been eating as much. He's still active and still pooping (weird to me because of the lack of appetite). His stools seem to be solid, he always poops in the water but they're not like diarrhea (don't mean to be gross). He's got the uriates and the main dark stool part.

He's active, today I added a few wood pieces and he was all over those and when I let him out for a bit he spend almost a half hour investigating an empty tissue box... lol. He's up shortly after the lights come on and goes to bed shortly before they're turned off (13/11 hrs)

Anyway, the last week hes eaten:
4/20 Shrimp (like 1/4 cup) and talapia fillet
4/23 2 rat pups
4/24 Tuna fillet
4/26 1 little dinky mouse

I offer him food every day, not as much because he's not as hungry. I'm going to try some ground turkey tomorrow, he usually pounds that. It's just weird because he's never done this.

His eyes and vent are clear, normal behavior. Temps are 112* basking, not sure about the cool end, he keeps burying his thermometer. I would guess 80ish, it feels the same as it usually does. Humidity is 65%. He doesn't look or feel like hes losing weight. No changes in anything recently, 3 weeks ago I got the female tegus but he ate normally the first 2 weeks I had them. Their tanks are stacked. UVB is a Solar Glo 160 watt, its 5 months old. He has 2- 48" Reptisun 10.0's and 2 regular fluorescent bulbs.

I've noticed that my tegus' appetites come in waves--sometimes they're just MOWING down the food; other times, they barely eat anything, if at all. I wouldn't be too concerned at this point.

Is there a certain amount of time he can go before I should get worried? I don't think he'd starve himself, I gave him some ground turkey and banana yesterday.. Well Thurs... and he only ate 2-3 bites and that was it.. Today/Friday I tried an egg and no real interest. Maybe I'll try a rat later on. He's still super active and behaving himself
