My tegu chews on everything. I've had a lab that chewed less. He chews on the sabretooth skull in his enclosure, the waterfall. Certain buttons on the remote, my tennis shoes, wifes robe. Essentially what ever he deems fun. This is not out of hunger because he sometimes does it after he eats and there's still food left. He's not hurting anything and hasn't hurt himself what i want to know is, is this normal and can he hurt himself doing this. Oh and he doesn't bite people just innanimate objects.
