Climbing and burrowing?

I would like to get a blue tegu so I'm researching how I will make the enclosure. I have two questions:
-Do they make actual burrows like monitors? I saw a vid on Youtube showing a tegu digging, but it wasn't actually burrowing.
-Will an adult tegu climb a large tree limb if I were to put it in the cage?
e.g - http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/varanid/91028-littlefoot-cera-new-video-pictures-2013-a-33.html
Thanks!

Yes, they will burrow if given substrate that is burrowable. It won't be as extensive as a monitor burrow though.
It is possible that it will climb a large tree, but I would guess it would depend on the size of the tegu and size of the tree.

My boys like to burrow, one more than the other. Gordo would burrow or bury himself in substrate which I kept abut 12" deep.
Jack sort of halfway dug in. His body was in but his tail was out.

No, but I noticed that when their husbandry is applied to other reptiles it works well.
I already have sandy soil, and I should be getting some coconut coir that I will mix in it soon.

From what I see they don't create burrows(holes in the ground that they use as shelter), rather they cover themselves in what is around them?
If this is not the case does anyone have pictures of an actual burrow?
