Climbing/jumping onto hand

So I've had my boy Hades now for about three weeks. And for the first week-week and a half, he would just run away from my hand when I'd reach into his enclosure. This week, almost every time I've put my hand in there, when I've seen that he's active, he'll actually look up at me and either climb or jump onto my hand/arm. Is this pretty good progress in terms of trust over the three-week period I've had him, or is this about average? (I know each tegu has their own unique personality).

I'm so jealous. Mine does not seem to be warming up further although it has never bitten me and it is a 5 month old Columbian tegu

Dont worry brica, just keep working with him. Every tegu is different, it took a long time for mine to warm up to me.
