Clipping nails?

Hey guys/gals, quick question. I've tried twice now to clip my guys nails. Seems really to stress him out as well as me. I'm just catching the tip and yet still a little blood on a cpl of the nails. I'm assuming the vein must run pretty close to the tip of the nail. I have trimmed beardies and iguanas without difficulty but this seems to be a little trickier. Any tips, thoughts ??

You could try using a dremel with a fine grit paper or one of those dog/cat electric nail file things. I keep meaning to try it out on my gu now that she is a bit bigger.

It's a pet version of a dremel. Lol. Not sure what it's called.

Get him some lava rock to climb on at that size. Should file it down.
