Nagions been hibernating but about 2 weeks ago he was acting weird so we took him to the vet (came out of his hide.. was breathing funny and walking weird). He was low on his suppliments and his immune system was rather weak from hibernating so the vet gave him a few shots and sent us home. Not too long after the vet visit he started waking up from hibernation and the past few days hes been trying to eat but gives up after a few tries. He's still groggy but moving around.. not like normal moving but sluggish moving around, and he's napping a lot. He'll come out of his hide and lay around different spots and when we bring him out he lays around a lot and wonders a bit more than in his cage. Should I be worried he's not eating or could he be going back down and doesn't want to eat? Should I be doing something or what?

What and why exactly did the vet inject him with? Was it a herp vet? What tests did the vet do to determine the need? In my opinion injections/medication should be a last resort when it comes to reptiles.

He was a herp vet - and they gave him antibiotics and something to do with calcium and the supplements he's not getting due to hibernating and not eating and such.

The vet said they were prone to infection when coming out of hibernation so gave him antibiotics just to be sure there was no infection and if so to treat it before it got bad since he was acting peculiar.

He may be in stupor from lack of vit D. Load hid food w lots of it. I had the same prob once and it worked well.

he's not eating. He goes for it but thats about it. Also - we'll take him out then he hides once he goes back in and we don't see him for a couple days. I'm beginning to think hes gonna go back down but I hope not. I miss my little one
