My tegu has regularly defecated every other day and released urates daily for as long as I've had him, but as of today, he hasn't done either for four days. He continued to eat up until yesterday, and then just suddenly stopped. I highly doubt that he's impacted, as his stool has never had any kind of substrate in it.
He's currently on Bobby's recommended diet of his ground turkey/beef liver/cod liver oil mix, and was eating about 1/2 cup daily.
I'm thinking that this is just him slowing down for the winter, although his recent absence of defecation has me a little worried. Any ideas?
