Cookie being abit weird o.o

Today I did go over to Cookie's cage like I always do before I take him out to feed, but I wanted to show him first I didnt wanna do anything bad to him so I slowly took my hand over and petted him abit but today he opened his mouth like he wanted to bite me I have never had any problems with that beside normaly he moves away if he dont wanna be petted or he smell my hand but he opened his mouth wide open.

Can there be such days where they had the wrong foot out of the bed?
any1 else have this sometimes?

Gaia did this the other day. I reached in to pet her and after a sniff she gave me a little nip. I figured out that I had the smell of food on my hands, and she was seeing if I was edible haha
