My F/T get those spots too, I assumed it was just from the freezer as well.
Its definitely from the freezer. It usually happens in pinky mice/rats, fuzzy mice/rats, hoppers, and sometimes adults. Depending on how they are frozen or how long they have been in the freezer. I'm not sure if its harmful or not, but my OCD lead to me to use live feeders cause of that lol. Cute little guy you got there.

Yep, freezer burn but it won't hurt, just compromizes the taste slightly perhaps. If they take the time to taste! My Tegu doesn't seem to even take time, just gulp and it's gone.
