i gots me some crocodile salamander (tylotriton shanjin) from someone who kept them together with poison frogs. but actually they like cooler temperatures.
i think they look cool.

yeah they do..the above picture i took myself.
theyre not good to photograph..the flash light makes them go jump off the treestump.

I always called them Emperor Newts...I believe they are the same thing though. Very neat species.

yeah puff now that you say something i had always thought thats what an emperor newt was too. lol they must be the same thing

i have heard of that too. so the crocodile salamander, emperor newt, and mandarin newt are all the same thing?
