My tegu is still relatively young and I'm still trying to tame them and calm them down a bit. A few minutes ago they whipped extremely hard and the very tip of their tail came off. It must of only been a millimeter because barely anything came off but it was still bleeding. Has anyone experienced this and would you put anything on the cut to stop infection?
