I use a PowerSun and calcium w/D3. I use the calcium about 3 times a week.

I don't dust his greens just like with a green iguana with the proper diet of dark leafy greens they don't need to be dusted. I know that collared, dandelion turnip greens have a very large calcium content. I use a powersun for uvb.

I think it is the green iguana society website that discusses supplementing an iguanas diet and rhino and green gunas pretty much have the same diet. I also read so many different things about d3 supplementation and whether getting it orally is efffective and it also has risks of over using it so I don't use it at all.

Too much D3 is toxic . If they are in natural sun light or have a good UVB bulb , they don't need D3 supplement , from what i have read . ?? I am short on $$ right now but hope to get a solar meter soon . I still don't trust any bulbs and want to check them myself ,

I don't add any supplements. IMO. it is just something else to buy. A diet in dark greens, vegetables and some fruits along with Sun and you have got a better diet than what most Rhinos get in the wild. I also feed the occasional hornworm which are high in calcium. I know there are those who swear by those additives. But I don't use them.
