did i see a hemipenis?

I saw my tegu making a BM and for the first time I saw something.. It didn't really look like a flower though. There was a red thing on the left and right side, I suppose it was similar to this but larger

but it was smooth, no flowery parts. Would that be because mine is still young? I wish I could have gotten a picture but it was pretty quick.

Congratulations,.. :-D it's a boy! The older he gets you'll see it more often and it'll be more prominent also with sperm plugs if you haven't seen any already.
