Diet Suggestions

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate fruits and veggies into my tegu's diet. It's 4 months old and is currently feeding on ground chicken gizzards and tilapia dusted with Calcium or eggshells, and superworms. I tried offering grapes a few times but no luck.

How did you guys start the whole fruits and veggies thing?
Also, which types do they prefer?

Since mine came to me matured, and already eating them very enthusiastically, I don't have experience. But you could try chopping them up really small and mixing them in with the ground meats.

That's what I'm going to try first. Seems like the smart thing to do.

I believe he's around 4 years old. He was rescued from a very severe situation and almost died, so some of the info on his past is pretty foggy, but he's a good boy and a good friend.
