Just like the title says. I just wonder because I find at times my guy tends to look a lil down and out. He walks around and sometimes looks slumpy or just not motivated. Is it posible? Is it lonelyness? Hmm What yall think?

No, I watch his temps very closly. His cage is in my livingroom so I check it multiple times a day. Some days he's full of life and others he's seems much less. Aswell I have seen him do what looks like a pouty slouchy look. Could he need company of his own kind?

Ive never known or heard of tegu's to need company, but they do sometimes enjoy having cage mates. I would think that they get lonely and depressed just like most animals.

that's what I'm wondering. With my other animals I've ever raised, especially cats and dogs, I found animals have loads of personality and even civilized behaviours. Look at males and teritorial domination. So I guess maybe my guy gets down and out and might need a friend of his own kind. Well I think I'm gonna look for a female and see if wedding bells will ring for him.
