Does Either Gender Make a Better Pet?

I've been planning on getting a Black and White for a while now, and I have researched as much as humanly possible on the internet. What I have yet to determine is if there is a benefit for getting one sex or the other. I have no intention of breeding my future Tegu, he/she is just going to be a pet. So, the question remains: Does a Male or Female make a better pet, or does it matter?

no it really dosnt matter unless you plan to breed. there is no advantage other than size when dealing with either sex. i had males and female tegus and both were just as calm and friendly as the other.

I was wondering the same thing, thanks Reptastic. I've allready got my tegu, but he's (or she's) still to small to tell the sex. I'm hoping for a male, just cause i like the big jowls. My Savannah allready flashed me, even tho he's still tiny, so atleast i know he's a boy.
