Does nothing but sleep

Hello my tegu has been very lazy past week
All he does is sleep but he poked his head out on occasion and disnet eat much and always closing his eyes and dosent trust me anymore (he is also shedding)

My tegus hide looks just like that, packed nice and tight. If this is a new home for him its completely normal. Tegus when moved to a new home will usually burrow and hide for a week or two before coming out for food. And you said he is shedding, sometimes tegus when shedding they just like to be left alone. Also if strangers were in your room, he could be hideing from them too. Just give him some time and he will come out for food eventually. It may take a week.

hes back to his normal self now but his tail skin wont come off? i tried soaking him

Him warm baths and then take like a bristle brush almost not super stiff and brush it off feed some fish or eggs I notice
