Eating things they shouldnt

Hello, had Taio out while i was spraying/feeding ect. I turned around to find him chewing a small sweet wrapper, which had foil and plastic in, i tried to get it but after a struggle he managed to swallow it. Should mention hes just shy of 3 feet long now.

Iv given him a week to pass anything through, but no luck as of yet. Hes perfectly active, huge appetite and pooing like normal however i am curious about this and the risk of impaction. I'm going to be booking him into the vets this week to see what can be done.

Anyone else had any similar experiences? I'm not really sure what to do about it and i really dont want him to come to any harm.
