Fecal float ? how to ?

Since I'm thinking of it : The "Fecal Float" - What is this exactly and How do you properly use this technique to check for parasites in the stools ?

You put fresh poo into a small container (test tubes work great) and add saline solution untill there is just a small bubble of water over the edge but not over flowing. Then you put a microscope slide over the bubble and let sit for ten minutes. Then pick it up and put a coverslide over the side that was in the poo solution and look under a microscope. Of course you have to know what your looking for though for it to tell you anything.
