my 2 ft tegu is not eating everyday i say every 3 days or so he will eat got to sleep for 2 or 3 days then wake up poop drink then i offer him food to see if he will take it he just ate his adult mouse today shouldnt these guys at this size be eating everyday or is it becouse the time of year he has slowed down his eating habits he used to be out everyday basking now he just sleeps i dont want him to be undersized or somethinghe is about a year and a few months old

Its probably the time of year. Mine hasn't started to slow down but from some of the other posts I've seen it sounds like yours is getting ready to burmate/hibernate.

Also I don't think that hibernating has anything to do with over all size. If they don't hibernate they might grow more quickly but it shouldn't have any effect on the max out size as an adult.
