Feeding?

hey guys i got an awsome red tegu like a week ago and ive been feeding him ground turkey, carrots, lettuce , pinkie mice ( one time ) and apples and strawberries. And i was wondering can i feed him grape tomatos? I tried once and he loved it by someone told me it is too high in acid so you guys tell me. Yes or No?

I would say it's too acidic, best to stay away from them for most, if not all reptiles

I have heard of tegus enjoying tomatoes. But they are definitely a very rare treat item only.
