few questions?

im not sure if my tegu is underweight,he has some skin folds on the side of his belly,he hasnt been on his regular diet in a week,hes been esting turkey and egg whites,no rodents,van this be the problem?i just fed him a rat pup today,hes just now big enough to eat those pretty easily.he doesnt eat alot of turkey,eggs,ETC,b/c the sore i got him from fed him like 3 mice a week but he eats some of the turkey which is all that matters.will these folds ever go away???he will be back on his normal eating plan 2morrow.

Sounds like it might be stressed but just to make sure maybe you should post pics, the other more experienced tegu owners might be able to help you more if they can see your GU. Just incase they can see something that might be wrong or needs a vet attention

k,ill try to post links 2morrow,the only other thing i c wrong with him is that he has a lil black "scuff mark" on the tip of his nose.

his side skin folds arent even that big so im not extremly worried about him. he has shed twice since ive had him(little over a month)so hes a pretty healthy boy!
