Finally got some internet! Tyson pics

So I found an application that I can get internet through my phone. Pretty neat. So I figured I'd do some Tyson pics while I'm off. I got him 2 months ago and he was 20" and a year old. Now I measured hes 32" and eats everything. He was free roaming the other day and started going to town on the cat food haha. Anyways heres some pics of when I first got him. Sorry about the quality, taken with a phone.

And his new 150 gallon cage. He is a little skiddish so far from the 100 gallon upgrade.





Whats nice about the cage, came with the canopy and stand and 4 4ft reptisun UV bulbs. And its almost completely sealed except for the top so the hygrometer reads about 70 at all times.

Yah he really likes his new cage. He destroyed everything. Such a punk. All 3 plants were dug into. Had to put 3 more inches of mulch so he would leave them alone. But the humidity stays at 70-80 and temp is 90ish on the hot side. So cagewise its great! Just gettin the canopy off 3 times a day is a little difficult.

Actually my gu and the cage are lucky craigslist snags. Got Tyson from some guy getting rid of it cause he was in hybernation and was bored of him, got for $100. Got the cage from some guy who was tired of seeing it in his garage, stand cage 4 reptisun uv bulbs light fixtures and canopy for $120. And after talking to one of my buddies we think it might be a 250, not a 125. Its 7'Ã?Æ?ââ?¬â?3'Ã?Æ?ââ?¬â?3'. Dimensions are more appropiate of a 200-250.

So apparently Tyson is half tegu and half ninja. Came home and found him laying with the cats in the living room. Scaled a 3 foot tall cage and then down 6ft to the floor and roamed all day and nesteld with the cats. Apparently the exercise did him good cause he ate 2 hoppers about 20 shrimp and 10 rasberries haha.

So when I got the cage it was an aquarium before I used it and there was all those little rocks at the bottom. I got 90% but got tired of scooping em out and left prolly 40 around the bottom under the mulch, and apparently they are skittles to Tyson. He is digging them up and eating them haha. He has poo'd prolly 40 of em so far. I guess that's the easy way to get em out of the cage lol
