i know its probably not his first shed ever but it his his first with me. this is only my second day with tegu and he is already shedding! im surprised because he was a bit underfed when i got him. he was a bit skinny. when i fed him yesterday he ate about a large teaspoon of turkey and about 26 crickets. today he ate a few bites of turkey and 18 crickets. he also ate some of his skin as it fell off. does any of your tegus like to eat its skin? i also sat with him in the yard for about 20 minutes to get his some good UVB exposure. so far he seems to be doing great!

i'll support your claims, buddy. I just caught my little girl eating some shed as well. It's not like she was going hungry either since she put down two mice and some ground turkey prior to that.
