Greetings!
Few weeks ago I got a golden tegu from a local privately owned reptile shop here in my city. Read alot about them being very agressive (it's bit me once already, and my husband twice). It's pretty skiddish still, and refuses to eat crickets, though supposedy thats all it ate at the shop. Loves boiled eggs, chicken, chicken livers and is impartial to chicken hearts. Likes to lick fruits, but I've yet to see it eat any.
I have a bearded that i got in January that's already 22" long, and came home to this beauty all set up as a surprise in my living room.
My husband wanted a B/W but didnt have the paitence to wait for Tegutopia to email him. Sure enough they did about a week ago, but We dont have enough room for that kinda encolsure in our apartment. Waiting till we get a house.
Anyways, just looking for tips, and somewhere to come to ask people with lots of knowledge on tegus, preferably of the golden genre.
here it is (likely way too young to sex.)
