Have you all seen the show where they kill all those alligators ?? What are your thoughts on that ..

It's an interesting show some of those things are so massive! I've only seen it once but if I saw it on again I'd probably watch it. I personally wouldn't go hunting for any game or whatever the term is. I can see why people do it and enjoy it but I couldn't stomach it in person lol.

I love the show. I have a good friend who took me alligator hunting this September.

Its more like catching than actual hunting but anticipation runs high as you never know what'll be on the end of the line.

Alligator meat is fine eating.

Ive been a hunter for years deer elk moose bear mountain lion .. This gater hunting is more like trapping [exploitation of the species ] Its all about money and who can get the most .. Its not about food its about hides that are of no use to the [hunters ].... I would rather see these [hunters] on welfare year round than hunting these animals like that big ones babies females what ever .. Taking pot shots at them in open water .. Come on ...

i agree with you montana.i saw that and i wanted one of those gators to leap out of the water and rip there heads off.i hate people that hunt just for the fun of it...if ur not using what u kill and just killing for fun like a child u need to have ur skull smashed in.

i love hunting and alligator is really good and i cant stand people that kill animals for fun, i if was to shoot something no matter what it was my dad would make me eat it, but this is these peoples lives's, its how they make money, they do eat the alligator and sell the hides so in my opinion its a good show, they dont waste the meat, they eat it, one episode they talked about how they never buy food they eat what they kill and they help send in snakes for venom for anti venom. JMO

So you put people before animals?

This is a television show, lots of embellishing going on but rest assured the people on the show eat what they kill and sell what they don't to make a living.

I agree completely. If they were killing just for sport then it would be a waste of the species and they should be locked up for something like that. However, I have watched the show many times, and they use there hunting (trapping) as a way of income for there family. They keep a few gators for themselves for the meat and hides, then sell the rest so they have money for other needs in life.

So like the Native Americans of old with the buffalo, they are doing it for the better of there life not just for fun as many hunters do these days. Killing Elk and Deer just for the racks and heads, wasting the body and hide (not implying that all hunters do this, I personally know a few people that do this).

in that case yes jefroka.yeah it was prolly a bit extreme but i like reptiles and dont like to see any of em killed off.
