Hi, im new to this forum and i had a quick question about the tegu that im getting. will a 6x3x2 cage do good for an adult male b&w tegu? I have never owned a tegu before but i have owned iguanas and pythons so i did do some research on these animals but i just want your opinion about the cage enclosure. :butt by the way i plan on giving the tegu alot of excersise out of his cage.

I can't believe nobody has replied to this. Well im no expert on tegus but I think I can answer your question. First off technically yes you can keep a tegu in that size cage but It is pretty small and 8X4 is a more widley accepted cage size for a b&w. If you do use a 6x3 cage I would reccomend it as a sleeping/hibernation cage mostly. Again this is just my opinion others might disagree so I would wait for more comments.

if you could go at least 6x 4 i think that would be best. So he has a chance to be able to fit all the way across the length. My cage for my female is going to be 8x4
