Godzilla likes killing dog toys

Godzilla seems to have taken a intrest in my dogs toys? im not sure if this is a behavior that I should discourage. Will it lead to aggresion issues? I haven't been able to figure out how to upload a video to this forum so iIve posted links to my myspace profile that has the videos. It may not be good but its deffinatly cute. Tegus dont teeth like dogs and babies do they?

Mine play with toys, dishtowels, tennis balls. It doesn't seem to make mine more aggressive.

Yeah it seemed to me that he was just playing. But I don't think I've ever heard of a reptile playing before. I know they aren't your usual reptiles and they are very smart, so I suppose that hemay just be playing. None the less its kinda wierd to think about.

Komodo Dragons do display behavior which is almost irrefutably "play". Komodo Dragons are also exceptionally intelligent though, even compared to other monitors and tegus. Regardless I can easily imagine a tegu finding some sort of amusement from chewing on toys like that.

Always keep an eye on him when he plays with those toys. It seems to me that your dogs breathe might smell kind of fishy or at least not fresh and the smell transferred onto the toy making your tegu think is is food. Now if you bouht a brand new one your dog never licked and gave it to him and he still goes after it, especially if it is the rope one that doesn't resemble an animal, then we have play of some sort
