got weighed today!

I got a scale today so that i could finally try and get a weight on the 3 larger lizards. i wasnt totally suprised with the out come, but it was a bit more than i expected. i used the weigh myself then weigh myself holding the lizard, then subtract the added weight. so nero at 38" weighs 16lbs.(possibly more we maxed out the scale together lol i need to hit the gym soon hehehe), manny my green iguana at 53" weighs 11lbs, and achilles at 34" weighs 5lbs. now i need a smaller scale to weigh the other 6 reptiles lol.

oh and id like to share a few pics of the tegus they are growing so fast!

is pyros temperment getting any better as he grows? or is he still quite the firecracker?

no he is still a lil firecracker lol, but if im just in front of his tank he is fine! im thinking he will get better once i finish his front opening enclosure, since now i have to go in from the top! but his appetite is really picking up, im thinking about trying a small adult mouse next week!

Great looking animals you got there. That's a great idea to weigh yourself then both of you. I'll keep that in mind when I get my first.

thanks everybody! and yeah they are all great eaters, but pyro is a beast when it comes to eating; how one lil tegu could fit so much in his belly is beyond me! nero didnt even eat as much when she was his size lol!
