Hello all.
I'm [ obviously ] a new member to this community, but I've been watching it for at least a month now, seeing as I've been finding out some information and such on a tegu I was planning to get beforehand. Anyways, I'm here now - and accompanying me is my Tegu, Obeliske!
Last week [ July 9th ] I went to a Reptile Expo that was in Columbia, where so many exotic species were found. I really enjoyed seeing everything that was there - my grandma even went home with a Prairie dog. And with no actual intentions of buying anything so soon, I came home with a tegu.
Obeliske [ nicknamed Obel ] is a Firebelly Argentine Black and White Tegu - very pretty. He's an amazing little rascal, despite always attempting to escape his current habitat, which is a 20g tank with a hide, water dish, and cypress mulch bedding. I'm unsure of his age, so any educated estimates are appreciated. I've already guessed that he's around 4 months or so - already has that orange underbelly.
