ground cover bark?

will this work instead of cypress mulch? home depot sells stuff, also comes in mini nuggets.

What kind of bark is it? I would guess it has alot of pine bark in it which is o.k. but you can get cypress mulch for 5$-8$ a bag.

There's no pic or attachment in your post. I hope it's not pine bark. Pine & cedar are toxic to reptiles. We pay $5 per 3 cu. ft. bag of cypress mulch. But it's hard to find in Cali.
