Hi everybody im new to this site and joined cause I just purchased two platnum het for albino blues from underground reptile I spent $ 1000.00 for both of them. They were hatched out yesterday and I drove from homestead to pick them both up. The problem im having is the aren't eating, my black and whites ate as soon as they hatched(well the next day) there temps are 110 and humidity is 70%. Is there a reason why? Or do they need another day?

So sorry a little about myself im a full time dad husband and a student lolol I love reptiles I own five tegus two blk/wht male named sky (thought it was a female lol) and my female named renji. I also have a male red who is mean and his name is Mr.Mic'Nasty and my two platnum blue's het for albinos female Penny and male Dollar, cause the truth is thats what we spent a pretty penny and top dollars. Also two hypo boa's female delski and male homie. And the truth is im an addict my drug of choice scales a.k.a REPTILES lolol

Yes it is normal for them to not eat the day after being hatched. Just try feeding them crickets multiple times throughout the next two days, and also try tong feeding the crickets. You should post some pictures of your other tegus and reptiles as well! Also what exactly are the platinums, UGR definitely has some interesting marketing names definitely good guys though and very smart.

Well I guess by platinum they mean very high whites. I saw pictures of parent's and they were very beautiful color wise and all around very healthy and big. I will post pictures of all my other reptiles if you look at my avatar pic thats my male blk/wht and the two pictures I posted underneath my post were my blues. When I get home I'll try and post some up. Thanks for the response I will try and feed again when I get home I did how ever leave like five or six crickets in there tank..

Not good to leave the crickets in there for a couple reasons. 1. The crickets could stress them out 2. Depending on the substrate you're using they could become impacted trying to catch a cricket.

How is the underground reptiles store? I am going on vacation to boca raton/del ray beach in a week and I might stop by the store since it is close.

I posted in the blue section as well but it would be wise to leave them alone for a few days.
