Hey there! I am new to the group and an avid reptile keeper. I've recently got my first tegu! I hope to meet and talk with other reptile and tegu lovers! Any advice for first time tegu owners would be appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome. It's a beauty. By chance, is it a Florida wild caught? Sort of has that look.

Sort of looks to be female. At that size should be able to feel BBs on either side of vent if a male.

I haven't felt any BBs so I guess she is a girl! And yes she is wild caught, how can you tell? I'm actually surprised she has quite a sweet personality for it!

The Florida population is distinctive-looking. My three are Fl. WCs. They're sweet and beautiful.
