Hey - I checked out your post about your enclosure and I think you're doing great! You have the right temps for an adolescent and they each have their "settle time" that drives us all crazy thinking they're going to starve. Let them come to you - even open the enclosure and move things around without contact. He'll warm up and become more curious when he's ready. They are clearly very (smart) cautious animals and when they're moved, they take quite awhile sometimes to trust.
You'll get good info like the "old, still smells like you shirt" to put in the home from this forum. The guys that have been here for years have helped me a lot, and I really owe them for responding quickly to issues I've had with my (almost) 2 yr journey with Tegus! They're awesome.
