Hello,
I live in Stockholm, Sweden and when I started reading about the Tegus I just had to have one.
So I got a black and white Tegu and have been busy building an enclosure for it which I think turned out great.
I did build a lid for it but I decided to rebuild it with sliding windows instead so I can watch her more easy.
Also I need to get more decoration like logs and some kind of cave. I have temporary caves made from cardboard boxes.
The build went pretty fast (at least for me), I estimate it to about 16 - 20 hours of work, still have external paint to do. I build it so I can take it apart into sections so I can move downstairs if needed. It has wheels so it is easy to move around while vacuming and stuff.
The cost for the construction (no lamps or stuff) was about $300.
I have had her for 3 days now, she hides pretty much but if I gently bring her out she walks around a lot too. She ate a lot today so she seems to adjust well.
Regards
Magnus
