Hey my name is Jacqueline and I'm new to owning a tegu but not new to owning reptiles. I have owned anoles, skinks, long-tailed lizards, water dragons, leopard geckos, and I had a quince monitor. I now own an Argentina black and white tegu...that I have yet to name. I do not know much about it, lol not even the sex. I got it at Repticon this past Sunday, it does have a regrown tail...but so far its pretty sweet. Its getting more used to be handled and touched...still a little squirmy but has done better. I will be building a cage for it a 8X4X4...its a pretty decent size tegu already I'm guessing its a year old.
