HELP Nose Tub

Hey my argentine black and white tegu that I rescued a while back has suffered from some bad nose run, I know it'll scar, but my question is will the scab come off? Like the next time he sheds? Or would I have to peal it off myself? It's on there pretty good still but most of the scale is dead. Please help!

I wouldn't peel it off if it was me because that could cause some more injury or add time to the healing process. Put some antibiotic ointment on it and regularly soak him and it will come off on its own.
