He's finally here!

My tegu finally arrived this morning after 2 years of religiously reading any information i could find on them. Thanks to this site and the amazing tegu people of the web i feel pretty good about my ability to give him a great life. I opened the box and peered into his little shipping bag and thought 'oh my god, its the most beautiful thing ive ever seen'. His thoughts were probably the opposite, as he is not too sure about me yet. But we'll get there. Thanks to everyone again for making this amazing source of information!

What a range of colors collected out of southern Florida. Quite a lot of white.

I too was surprised at how much white he had, and not as 'wild' as i figured he'd be. Very huffy and scared but not really aggressive. I cant even put into words how happy i am to have this guy. Hooray for W.C. tegus!

All mine are from Rodney. All tamed down quickly. Almost seemed to be relieved to be out of the tooth and claw jungle.
