Hey everyone, just another reptile lover like the rest of us all, here to explain who I am and why I'm here.
(I didn't intend for it to be this long)

I'm Cameron, 22 years old from Northern California (San Jose), and at the moment I really don't have any reptiles of my own. Here's my current scenario.

I was recently in a relationship with a girl whom I spent just about 7 nights a week with, (though I have my own apartment.) She had a bearded dragon when I got with her, but in October 2014, she rescued a green iguana from a friend of a friend, and we unknowingly began to take on the workload of caring for him. We weren't prepared for how much time and effort it was going to take, but over the course of a year and a half, we grew to love this lizard, and he quickly implanted himself in my heart. in January 2015 she ordered a Columbian tegu without telling me, so in less than year we came to own 3 reptiles. I quickly developed a love I'd never felt for these lizards,I eventually unintentionally took over the entire responsibility of feeding bathing and caring for them every day, I dug deeper into researching their needs, and learning all I could about their maintenance, leaving her with essentially no responsibility.

Then recently, for a few reasons, we parted ways, and because she was the one to take in and house all 3 lizards , they were technically hers, so they stayed with her. I returned to my apartment with no lizards in my life.

Now left with time I never had, and feeling at a loss without a single lizard in my life, I decided I'm getting one that I can, for the first time, call my own, and it's gonna be an Argentine black and white :) the only thing holding me back is the enclosure, which is already in progress (I'll save the enclosure description for the proper forum), but as soon as I have the enclosure built, I'm getting myself an argentine and I'll be sure to post pictures of the little guy:)

Thanks for taking the time to read, can't wait to get to know you all!

Yes. Tell us when you're ready for one and maybe we can help with vendors and/or species.

Walter my man, I decided on Rodney Irwin the moment that I found his website. Haven't contacted him yet because I've still got a while to go on the enclosure and it's gotta be all done before I get one.
I am sure that I want a male though, and hopefully a young one around a yearling or so

Great. He'll be able to accomodate you. Among his stock, he has some up on Kingsnake.com. Adults, juries, males, females, fire bellies, etc. a great guy with great animals.

Hey since you seem to have a decent knowledge of his business, how early would you say I should contact him? I want to give him notice in advance, but right now i feel would be too early, because this enclosure probably won't be finished for another few weeks.
