Hello,
I'm a new tegu owner. I have an Argentine b/w (7 months), and a red 1 1/2 months. I adopted the red from a friend who made an impulse buy.
I am wondering when I may be able to introduce the 2?
Can I keep them in the same enclosure eventually?

Welcome Thor. I don't think behavior is a problem as much as size difference would be. If similar in size and not two males, I'd try supervised until you were to feel confident in their being together permanently.

The size difference is pretty extreme at the moment. I showed the smaller of the 2 ( my red, Mars) to my b/w ( Apalo) through the glass of apalo's encloser. This is what happened

Lol great point. So wait until my b/w can't swallow my red whole before I introduce them? And thank you for the speedy reply

Exactly. Get red up to near equal size, then try again.
