hey, i may have a tip about eating.

Eva my beauitful girl black and white has been with me for maybe 2 weeks now and i was having a hard time getting her to eat anything.

i started experimenting with different foods and different serving methods.

I now know.. She will eat pork and turkey, tomatoes and grapes.
but.. everything has to be made into bite sized little snacks other wise she kinda snobs it. Also i bought he a cool feeding dish.. but she hates it... she much rather paper plates. she grabes the plate pulls it to her climbs on and eats away.

she doesnt like to be bin fed... so i feed in her tank. I try to pet her everytime my hand goes in to keep the aggression at bay. (this tegu has never made an agressive move on me in her stay here so far! which is great)

They all have their own little quirks, things they like or dislike more than others. If you can find out what she was fed before that would help, then you can use that to add different foods to her diet. If not then just continue to try different things.

Her nose looks a little red and irritated in the first pic. Keep an eye on it, find out what she's rubbing it on and why (fix it) or it will only get worse.

Aren't tomatoes bad for tegus? Ive always thought this, can someone verify?

she was banging in to the sides of the tub, this was he first bath so she was exploring.. i felt terrible but the same thing happened the first day she went into her tank.

tomatos are a snack... too much acid or somthing for food all the time.
