Hey, I am new to the forum and have been looking into tegus. I live here in Canada so it will likely be a red or a columbian. I just had a few questions. Is it true columbians are really hard to tame or won't even get tame?
I was also wondering if someone can point me to a columbian care sheet please.

Colombians are able to become tamed like argentines just most columbians are imported which is why they are cheaper as well as more aggressive usually. You are going to have to spend a lot of time with it just like you would any other tegu, you want him/her to not see you as a predator anymore.

Welcome to the site. With time, handling and proper husbandry Colombians can be just as calm and rewarding to have as any other tegu species.
