Hello! My new tegu and I are in California. This is a new adventure to me but I'm definitely up for the challenge. I've been doing a ton of research and will try my best to make sure my baby has a long, happy, healthy life. Right now, we're working on building trust. It's only been a couple of days and he hasn't eaten. I'm not too worried yet. I know he needs time to acclimate to his new home. But.... How long is too long before I should be concerned? His color looks good. There's no mucus or anything. His muscle tone is fine. He burrows most of the day and comes out to bask for about an hour or so. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Ok! I'll have to try that. These butter worms aren't cutting it. I'm going to try some ground turkey today. If that doesn't work, pinkies will be next! Thanks for the tip.
