i wanted a GAL as well, but they're illegal in california, but i suppose its for the better, them being so invasive and there being so many irresponsible people.

i love your tegus pattern, he looks gorgeous! welcome!

hi and thank you my Gal is only a baby at the mo im not sure how old he is but he gets bigger everyday and eat loads. wow i didnt know they where illegal in some places. i only have the one he was a gift cos i went in the reptile shop and i did want another ball python but my partner said no. cos i was in there pleading with him the shop owner gave me the snail as his where breeding so much. i was a bit gutted at the time but i wouldnt be with out him now.i would only ever have the one tho cos how fast the breed.i will get some pic off the gal on here soon. i wouldnt have know what a gal is. iv just worked out what a bp is tho :) she is a normal. she was a rescue i think she is about 4 years old now. iv had her 2 years. thank you about the patterns on my tegu really wish he would start eating the all he has had is 1 marioworm and one cricket im tried him with all sorts

Dont worry - its not unusual for them to not eat for a few days while settleing into a new environment.
Alot f people seem to have success dipping foods into raw eggs before offering it to their tegu when they are being fussy. Maybe thats worth a try f you havent allready.
